St. Joseph's/Candler Physician Network - Cardiothoracic Surgery has access to state of the art technologies and services combined with the experience of four fellowship-trained and board-certified cardiothoracic surgeons.

Our physicians, Dr. Marc Bailey,
Dr. Robert Jones,
Dr. Jeremy E. London and Dr. Andrew Papoy make our cardiothoracic program even more robust. Dr. London and Dr. Papoy are trained in the TAVR procedure to perform valve replacements.
Dr. London also specializes in treating vascular and thoracic aortic aneurysms. Both dr. London and Dr. Papoy specialize in coronary artery bypass grafting. Dr. Papoy also performs thoracic endovascular aorta repair, or TEVAR.
Dr. Bailey is trained in da Vinci robotic approaches to thoracic disease. Additionally, Dr. Bailey has a special interest in minimally-invasive diagnosis and treatment in thoracic oncology surgery.
Dr. London and Dr. Papoy work directly with The Heart Hospital at St. Joseph's Hospital, serving as surgical support in the treatment of cardiovascular disease. This allows the cath lab staff to perform more complex procedures and use advancements in technology to help the sickest of patients. Dr. Jones sees patients at our Savannah and Bluffton offices. Dr. Bailey works closely with the Nancy N. and J.C. Lewis Cancer & Research Pavilion serving on the Thoracic (Lung) Cancer Multi-Disciplinary Team.
