Every Step Counts in the Path to Recovery

Every Step Counts is a nonprofit corporation formed by caregivers, supporters and survivors of cancer—people who've seen firsthand how beneficial walking can be to someone going through cancer treatment and recovery.

As encouragement to get out and walk, Every Step Counts, in conjunction with various hospitals and cancer centers, regularly sponsors fun walks for survivors and their families. Walks of varying lengths are held in a different location every month.

As extra incentive, Every Step Counts gives out pedometers to each participant. Our goals are fun, fellowship and exercise.
